Henderson, Nevada

Albert "Rusty" Westwood, passed away on August 12, 2024. Born April 16, 1947, in Cambridge, Ohio. He made Lake Havasu City, Arizona, a place he loved, his home in 1974- 2020. He worked diligently as an insurance adjuster for 22 years.

Rusty was known for his love of fitness and the outdoors, often seen working out at the gym or building race tracks for his grandchildren to ride motorcycles. He had a compassionate heart, often adopting stray livestock and bringing them home to his cherished ranch. His love for his family was boundless; his wife, Cheryl, and his children and grandchildren were his world.

Rusty's wife, Cheryl, fondly remembers Rusty's youthful charm and his Elvis-style hair. His playful teasing of their children often brought laughter into their home. Rusty was an artist at heart, with a talent for building homes and drawing. His love for cooking was a joy for his family, especially his signature egg sandwiches.

Rusty was a simple man that valued cleanliness and health, always mindful of what he ate. His favorite treats were apple turnovers, Reese peanut butter cups, and drumsticks. His favorite ice cream was THE GALLON.

Rusty is survived by his sons, Jason & Zachary (Jacqueline) Westwood; his grandchildren, Kailee, Alex, Cassandra, Lindsey, Evan, and Garrett Westwood., Great Grandchildren Ace & Aria. He was preceded in death by his faithful companion Tater, his father, Bernard Westwood, and his mother, Fern Westwood.

Rusty's sarcastic comments and dedication will forever be remembered by his family and friends. We encourage those who knew and loved Rusty to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page.
