"Anita Jeanell Herman a beloved wife, mother and friend, passed away peacefully on April 4,2026 at the age of 79" talented, and smart Anita Herman, who was born on April 3, 1947.

Anita was a beacon of light in the lives of those she touched. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit was indomitable, and her love was boundless. Anita was more than just a woman of substance; she was a woman of remarkable resilience, wisdom, and warmth. Her life was a testament to the power of love, family, and perseverance.

Anita had a passion for the great outdoors. She was truly a water dog, delighting in the rhythm of the lake and river, the thrill of jet skiing, and the serenity of boating. Her younger years were filled with joyous camping trips at Crazy Horse, creating memories that still echo in the hearts of her loved ones. Anita’s talents extended beyond nature; she was an avid crafter, a skilled seamstress, and had an innate flair for shopping. Anita was also a beautiful singer and piano player. Professionally, she was the lead secretary for the District Attorney in Los Angeles County, a position she held with grace and tenacity.

But perhaps what Anita was most celebrated for was her role within her family. As a loving mother, wife, and a great friend, Anita was the glue that held everyone together. She raised four children and two grandchildren, always showering them with love and care. She also extended her nurturing nature to her mother, providing care until her mother’s passing. Her love for her family was unwavering and unquestionable. Her husband, Donald Herman, her 3 children and her 11 grandchildren ,12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren survive her. Anita’s sense of humor was legendary, known for endearingly calling her husband "Valerie" when he would get lost in the store. As the saying goes, "A day without laughter is a day wasted," Anita ensured no day was ever wasted.

Anita's Celebration Of Life will take place on Saturday, 16 May 2026, at 11:00am MST at 3651 Kickinghorse Drive, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86404.
