It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Buddy Lietz on June 23, 2025. True to his breed, Buddy was a beacon of unconditional love and loyalty, a real testament to the bond between humans and their four-legged companions. Born into a family that cherished and celebrated every life, Buddy was indeed a cherished member of the Lietz clan, residing in Lake Havasu City, loved and nurtured by his human parents, Walter and Donna Lietz.

Buddy was not just a pet in the Lietz household, he was a family member, a confidante, and a source of pure, unfiltered joy. He was the beloved canine son of Lake Havasu City pioneer, Walter Lietz, the founder of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Over the years, Walter's love for dogs was evident in his relationship with Buddy, his constant companion. Donna Lietz, Buddy's human mother, also showered him with affection and care, reflecting the deeply ingrained love for all living creatures characteristic of the Lietz family.

Buddy's legacy lives on in the hearts of those he left behind, including Donna and her daughters, Dani and Kristen Lietz, who now is the President of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

Buddy's life, although short, was one filled with memorable moments, heartwarming experiences, and the kind of love that transcends species.
