Charlene Guadarrama (Mielnikiewicz/Russo) was born in south Plainfield, New Jersey on September 25, 1954 to Mavis and Nikolas Russo, and passed away on September 5th 2026.Survived by two daughters Melissa and Nikki, as well three grandchildren, Samantha, Nikolas and Ryannah. She spent the first 17 years of her life in South Plainfield, New Jersey before following her first husband Pete Melinkiewicz to California, where she gave birth to her first born, Melissa Mielnikiewicz on
August 13, 1981. After divorcing and remaining close friends with Pete, Charlene remarried Louie Guadarrama and gave birth to their preemie, Nikki Guadarrama on September 1, 1989; an entire month earlier than expected. One of Charlene's best qualities was her ability to nurse back to health any animal or person who was in need. Her passions included playing the piano, ballroom dancing (she was a dance instructor for many years and could captivate any dance floor). She was also passionate about training dogs in both obedience and agility, rescuing dogs and later in life took on art like drawing and painting. Charlene was a phenomenal cook, and had the most beautiful smile, an incredible giving heart and was always going above and beyond for everyone in her life. She spent the last years of her life taking care of her mother, Mavis, who Charlene made sure had everything she could ever want and need.
Charlene, Mole, Mom, Grandama, Char....whatever you called her she is someone who will deeply be missed every
single day.
Charlene now joins her husband, brother Paul, parents, dogs, cats, birds, friends and God in
heaven, may her soul rest in peace.
