With deep sorrow and enduring love, we announce the passing of Colleen Renee Durst, who left this world on June 6, 2025—just one day before her 69th birthday. She was 68 years old.

Colleen was born on June 7, 1956, in Vallejo, California, to Jerry Eugene Beckley and Roberta Lucille Dull. Colleen is survived by her father, as well as her brothers: Michael of Munford, Tennessee; Christopher of Denver, North Carolina; Sean of Laguna Niguel, California; Jerry II of Paducah, Kentucky; and James of Reno, Nevada. Her surviving sisters are Jean of Stockton, California, and Kathleen of Boston, Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her Mother, and her sisters Kelly and Catherine.

Colleen is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Cori, her son-in-law Chad and her grandchildren: Shawn, Savannah, and Samuel. She also leaves behind her great-granddaughter, Corina, who brought light and joy to her later years.

Colleen’s life was one of quiet strength and emotional complexity. Though the path wasn’t always easy, her resilience and enduring love left a lasting mark on those who knew her. She taught us that even through hardship, love can remain—imperfect, unwavering, and real.

A private family service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
