In Loving Memory of Dominick Cordola
March 17, 1942 – October 4, 2026
Dominick Cordola, lovingly known as Don, Donnie, or Dom, was a man whose life was as vibrant and full of adventure as the roaring engines he adored. Born on March 17, 1942, Dominick was a hardworking, ambitious, and dependable man who never shied away from an adventure or an opportunity to lend a helping hand. On October 4, 2026, he completed his earthly journey, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, love, and countless stories shared around the glow of a campfire.
A California native, Dominick had a lifelong love for the open road, motorcycles, and his beloved Los Angeles Rams football team. He spent countless hours riding motorcycles throughout California, Ohio, and Arizona, always enjoying the freedom of the ride and the adventures that came along with it.
In 1957, Dominick became a member of the Barbarians Motorcycle Club of Los Angeles, where his passion for motorcycles, adventure, and the open road continued to grow.
In later years, he became a member of the Associated Blazers of California, where his love for adventure took him beyond the pavement and into the rugged outdoors. From rock crawling across challenging terrain to snow wheeling through winter landscapes, Dominick embraced the thrill of off-road adventures. For him, it wasn’t just about conquering the trails, but about the friendships, laughter, and unforgettable memories made along the way.
Whether he was riding motorcycles, navigating rocky trails, camping beneath the stars, or boating on a peaceful lake, Dominick was happiest outdoors, surrounded by good company, enjoying a little adventure, and making memories worth sharing.
Throughout his professional life, Dominick took great pride in his work as a skilled machinist. His strong work ethic, determination, and dependable nature were qualities that defined him both professionally and personally.
Beyond his accomplishments and adventures, Dominick was a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He shared nearly 46 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sharyl, a milestone they would have celebrated this November. Throughout his life, Dominick experienced the joys, challenges, and blessings of family, leaving behind a legacy that continues through generations.
Dominick is survived by his loving wife, Sharyl; his children, son Lanny; daughter Holli and her husband, Ryan McGowen; daughter Angela and her husband, Mick Scharbrough; and son Tommy and his wife, Patricia. He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Bustemonte; his nephews, Frankie and Rocco; and his loyal four-legged companion, Zoey, who brought him unconditional love and companionship.
His family legacy continues through his six grandchildren: Brittnnee, Baylee, Brayden, Liara, Addilyn, and Killian; and six great-grandchildren: Brayleigh, Paxleigh, Elleigh, Ryatt, Levi, and Crew.
Dominick was preceded in death by his beloved son, Dominick Jr. (Donnie); his parents, Vito and Octavia Cordola; and his brothers, Tommy and Dale Cordola. Although his passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, there is comfort in the faith that he has been welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord and reunited with those who went before him.
Dominick’s earthly journey may have come to an end, but the stories, laughter, adventures, and memories he leaves behind will live on. His life reminds us to embrace the adventures, appreciate the little moments, and never take for granted the time we have with those we love.
As we remember Dominick, may we celebrate the life he lived, the roads he traveled, and the memories he gave us. Though he may no longer be here with us, his legacy will continue in the hearts of his family and friends.
We invite family and friends to honor Dominick’s memory by sharing their favorite stories, cherished memories, and photographs on his memorial page.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Until we meet again, may the roads in Heaven be endless, the campfires always warm, the trails always adventurous, and the Rams always winning.
