Jackson Vickers
November 3, 2013 – August 19, 2026

Jackson was adopted from the Humane Society on March 14, 2015, and from the moment he came home, he became so much more than a dog—he became family.

When Jackson joined his family, his youngest human sister was just six months old and his oldest human sister was two and a half. He cuddled and slept with those girls as though he had been born to protect them. He loved his family fiercely and always wanted to be as close to his humans as possible.

He was also always chasing his cat brother around the house. In his early days, Jackson had a particular interest in garbage. He could often be found hovering over trash cans or digging through them, occasionally leaving quite a mess behind. Once he had a doggy door and could go outside whenever he wanted, he eventually grew out of that habit.

When Jackson met his second Mom, she wasn't quite fast enough closing the front door—and Jackson RAN! His new dog sister followed right behind him. Mom eventually caught them at the stop sign down the street, where they were simply sniffing around before happily hopping right into Mom's car.

Jackson LOVED to swim! When he moved into a house with a pool, he would jump in any chance he got and swim, and swim, and swim until Mom or Dad had to get in and physically drag him out. He could have spent all day in the water.

Jackson loved people and was notorious for stealing seats whenever someone got up. His favorite place was always wherever his humans were—whether sitting beside them or, preferably, right on top of them. He was the very best cuddler.

In his final years, Jackson helped raise his new dog brother, teaching him how to be the bestest boy. He was loved, cuddled, brushed, and spoiled every day. He knew how deeply he was loved, right up until the very end.

Jackson Vickers is survived by his Dad, Jeremy; his Mom, Nicole; and his human and dog siblings—Justice, Jacqueline, Sam, Warren, Benelli, and Raikou.

Jackson, you were handsome, loving, goofy, loyal, and deeply cherished. You gave your family years of love, laughter, cuddles, adventures, and memories that will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, handsome boy. You were the bestest boy. You will be loved forever. ❤️🐾
