Maria Schul

Maria Ramirez Schul was born on April 1, 1946 in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico to Angelita and Salomon Ramirez.
Her family immigrated to Nogales, Arizona when Maria was 7 years old. She and her siblings acclimated and learned to speak, read and write English quickly. As an adult, Maria proudly became a citizen of the United States of America.
In Nogales, she met the love of her life, Gary Alan Schul, and they married on November 12, 1966. They lovingly celebrated 50 years of marriage shortly before Gary passed away in June 2017.
Their family was their greatest joy in life.
Together, Maria and Gary had 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
They made their lives in Nogales, Eagle Mountain, CA, Yucca Valley, CA and Lake Havasu.
Maria spent many years volunteering for Hospice of Havasu.
She is survived by her children: son Gary (Loleta), son Danny (Kim), daughter Christina Garcia (Adrian) and daughter Cynthia Schul.
She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Danny Schul Jr. (Mandy), Joshua Schul (Samantha), Tatum Pessa, Isabella Garcia, Dominic Garcia and Kadence Zaccaria.
Maria is also survived by her 4 siblings, nieces, nephews and friends near and far. Her light, love and zest for life will shine through us all!
