Ronald Richard Crawley II
March 9, 1971- July 29, 2026
Ronald Richard Crawley ll, known simply as Ron, Ronnie, or Uncle Ronnie to those who loved him, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 Ron was born on March 9, 1971, in La Mesa, California. In 1996, he moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, with his longtime glrlfriend and best friend, Tracl Stemm. After sharing many years and building a life together, Ron and raci were married on March 16, 2019. Ron joined Armor Fence & Masonry and worked alongside his brother from 1997 to 2002, returning in 2005 and remaining a part of the company until his passing. Armor Fence was much more than a place Ron went to work each day. His presence, personality, stories, and laughter will be deeply missed by the entire Armor crew.
Ron is survived by his wife and best friend, Traci Crawley; his father, Ron Crawley Sr. (JloAnn); his brother, Jesse (Amanda and nieces Taytum and Preslee); his in-laws, Rick and Cherri McPherson and Douglas Stemm (Kathy); his aunts, Bonnie and Dona; his sister-in-law, Laura Ring (Chris). With many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends stretching from the East Coast to the West Coast.
Ron loved the simple things that made life good. He loved his dog, Blue, and his cat, Shorty, and on most days, you could find Ron in his pool with Blue close by. His days often started early at the gym, followed by a trip back home and a jump in the jacuzzi before heading off to work. Family was always an important part of Ron's life. He loved family gatherings at his parents' home, his brother's home, and with his in-laws. Ron had a passion for BBQing and cooking, and anyone lucky enough to eat something he made knew it was always going to be good. He loved reminiscing about his old Ping Pong days with the California crew, boating on the lake, watching football, hiking and camping, going to the ocean, spontaneous San Felipe trips, and taking cruises with Traci.
Some of the best memories were the simplest ones - especially pool days with his dad, Ron. The two of them would sit in the pool, have a little tequila, and carry-on loud conversations about anything and everything. Ron shared an especially close and cherished relationship with his in-laws, Rick and Cherri McPherson. He loved the time they spent together, survivor night, conversations that were had, the laughter, and the many memories they made over the years. We are also incredibly thankful for Ron's many longtime and closest friends who knew him, appreciated him, and loved him for exactly the man he was. We will miss his stories. We will miss his laughter. We will miss the conversations, the pool days, the get together's, and simply knowing he was there.
There are people who leave behind memories, and then there are people whose personality becomes part of the memories of everyone around them. Ron was one of those people. His absence leaves a space in our family, his friends, and work colleagues that can never truly will be filled. Until we meet again, our son, brother, husband, uncle, family member, and friend - know that you were deeply loved, you are deeply missed, and you will never be forgotten. A celebration of Ron's life will be held in October.
