Victor Eugene Wales, known affectionately as Vick by his family and friends, was born on June 18, 1944, in Glendale, CA. He was a charismatic and spirited man, who found joy in life's simple pleasures. Victor was a talented auto mechanic whose love for engines was evident in his work and his hobbies. Outside of his work, he was an avid rock hunter, a lover of the outdoors, and had a passion for building and riding motorcycles. His love for engines was not limited to automobiles; he had an insatiable curiosity about how things worked, evident in his love for working on engines of any kind.
Victor was a man of faith, a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His faith was a guiding force in his life, providing him with strength, purpose, and a sense of community. Victor was generous with his time and resources, always willing to lend a hand to those in need or the shirt off of his back. Throughout his life, he lived in various places including Bishop, CA; Afton, WY; and Vernal, UT, before finally settling down in Kingman, Arizona. He was a lover of music and film, often spending his free time enjoying both. His life was a testament to the words of Mahatma Gandhi, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others".
